Hi All,

Was just checking in to see if we had some NOA2 progress/movement here or not... but as usual...hardly any NOA2 from CSC recently... so I m feeling little off... not to mention that I am almost at about 3.5 months since I filed my wife's I-130 and almost 3 months for her K-3... so I guess this wait is starting to get to me now. Anyhow... lets keeping on praying/hoping for more approvals...

What I am about to say is totally off the topic so you may wanna skip this but have you guys seen the application pending disparity and imbalance between the two main USCIS service centers: VSC and CSC. This isn't a surprise to me but just wanted to share some K1/K3 pending numbers discrepancy that I just observed between the two service centers. Check this out:

At VSC:

Pending K1 - 160

Pending K3 - 30

At CSC:

Pending K1 - 405

Pending K3 - 112

There is a magnitude of difference: pending K1 @ CSC is more than twice and pending K3 @ CSC is more than thrice that of VSC...Dont they (as in USCIS) see this and may wanna balance it out... I know my whining and :ranting: is not goin to matter or help but couldn't help posting it since I saw these numbers.

On the other note, I would like to say THANKS A LOT to bszoom42 for all of this time/help/effort here on VJ... and good luck for your fiancee's upcoming visa interview. Have a great time on your trip... hopefully she will be with you on your trip back... Good Luck and wishes... :)

Regards

Pkewl

naturally, I sympathise with your impatience and frustration, and I'm always interested in looking at stats and figures... however, bear in mind that the numbers on their own mean next to nothing; yes, California has many more pending applications, but perhaps they have 500 employees to Vermont's 150... there are other elements in play here :)

The Very Secret Diary of Legolas Son of Weenus - by Cassandra Claire

Day One: Went to Council of Elrond. Was prettiest person there. Agreed to follow some tiny little man to Mordor to throw ring into volcano. Very important mission - gold ring so tacky.

Day Six: Far too dark in Mines of Moria to brush hair properly. Am very afraid I am developing a tangle.

Orcs so silly.

Still the prettiest.

Day 35: Boromir dead. Very messy death, most unnecessary. Did get kissed by Aragorn as he expired. Does a guy have to get shot full of arrows around here to get any action? Boromir definitely not prettier than me. Cannot understand it. Am feeling a pout coming on.

Frodo off to Mordor with Sam. Tiny little men caring about each other, rather cute really.

Am quite sure Gimli fancies me. So unfair. He is waist height, so can see advantages there, but chunky braids and big helmet most off-putting. Foresee dark times ahead, very dark times.

She is right. The important statistic is the number of petitions per adjudicator and I have never found anyone who knows that information.

Despite the large difference in the number of petitions submitted, there is not much difference between CSC and VSC at this point.

For NOA2's issued since the first of August, CSC has taken 114 days for K1's and 135 days for K3's. For the same period, VSC has taken 105 days for K1's and 134 days for K3's.

Vermont used to be a lot faster than CSC but not anymore.

I had some requests to put together a list for CSC similar to what I have for VSC, so here goes. Its a long list!

I also included TSC and NSC in this list, as I am assuming that they are being processed at CSC. Let me know if you feel that assumption should be changed.

How come I'm not on the list.

Hello Everyone. Finally go reunited with my fiance and now husband. We are soo happy.... After 2 years since we filed 7/28/07 we received our visa on August 4, 2009... don't give up. if you know USEM is wrong fight for it... We did...

you are; position #394 on the latest list :P

*supplies magnifying glass*

Vermont used to be a lot faster than CSC but not anymore.

and THIS fact gives me some cautious confidence that they did indeed know what they were doing with the changes at the end of July... if things are already so much closer together it indicates they'd noticed the disparity and have taken action to change it

I just can't bring myself to look at all the figures as I think it might drive me insane! I am so glad there are people here who take it on themselves to analyse and share :D

This is not the complete fax (has some other personal info in it)

I’m currently in the US Air Force based in Germany. I’m due to return to the U.S. in Oct 07. My fiancé and I currently live together at my residence in Germany.

I originally applied for an I-129F in Mar 07. The California service center denied my application saying that because my current location was overseas, I must submit my application to the nearest American Embassy. I then contacted the US Embassy in Frankfurt Germany and was informed they do not process I-129F Visa’s.

After numerous phone calls and emails to the US Embassy, US State Dept. and USCIS, (which weren’t very helpful) I was advised to re-file my application and use a stateside address on the petition. I did so in Jun 07. A few weeks later, I finally received notice that my application was received and being processed.

Clearly the I-129F application refers to U.S. Service members living overseas (I-129F part C question 1). For this reason, I feel that my first application should not have been denied. Had my first application been approved (submitted Mar 07), the process would have most likely been completed before I was due to return to the U.S. in Oct 07

Good for you! I think they just put new quidelines in effect to expedite petitions for military personnel. I'm glad this second filing went quickly for you!
