Congratulations!!! That is awesome! All the best to you.

Still waiting on interview notice at Atl FO.

If you have some time, please tell me about your experience. Thanks

So they’ll let you come into the building early, but once you get to the check in desk they won’t let you upstairs until it’s 30 mins before your appointment time.

they told us there was a delay with short staffing and system delays but It wasn’t bad. I waited maybe 30 minutes past my appointment time.

case officer asked for my green card and passport but after reviewing my application, apparently I had not uploaded my birth certificate. So luckily I brought all of my immigration paperwork from the start  with me, and she uploaded it without issue.

did the reading, writing and 6 questions for the civics test.

lastly, she went over the questions from the application and when it was all done she asked if I wanted to stay for the same day oath ceremony.

really easy and smooth experience and everyone there was really nice.

True but the lady was nice. I actually asked if I could see it.

I guess in this situation beggars can’t be choosers theory applies.

So I’m not even sure where the picture on my certificate came from. They took my picture yesterday but that’s not the one they used. Took so many pictures during this process. Not a fan of it either, but it’s not like I’ll be carrying it in my wallet haha.

From the biometrics picture? Did you send any photos with your N-400?

Wife's Naturalization Certificate picture appears to have come from her 2019 (I-751) biometrics appointment.

If that is true then what is the purpose of them taking a picture? Is it just to verify who I was there?

Does it really matter? Will there be an answer that will satisfy you? Every time you interact with immigration, including CBP they take your biometrics, as an immigrant you don't get a lot of say of when and how your image and fingerprints are going to be used. Since your at the end of your journey, with a couple a weeks until the end, just focus on the light at the end of the tunnel and let the rest fall away. You're done!

Ahhh! I just found out my interview/test date is May 14th!! (I’m in Charleston, SC). We filed the application on December 20.

Now my husband is freaking out because he thinks I won’t have enough time to study all the questions and answers for the test… (I’ve been procrastinating and thought I still had at least a few more months.. oops! 🤦🏼‍♀️🤣). Can’t believe they scheduled it so quick!!

I registered but IO never asked for that document that I brought. However, IO said almost no one registers for it.

Has anyone’s case tracker update changed that the on/after 3/21/24?

Hello All,

My interview took place today. It took around 20 minutes from the moment I got into the interview room.

My application was under 3-yr rule and the interviewer did ask me a lot of questions about that (where's your husband now? Does he work? Do you work? When did you get married? Why did you only apply now?......) Some questions he kept coming back a few times such as "Do you have to work today?"....

He only asked for my Green Card, Driver's License, passport, nothing else.

The civics tests were not hard, but I didn't hear him well on the first question and I asked him to repeat.

I was approved. The Officer told me it would take approx. 90 days for me to get the mail informing the Oath Ceremony. When I checked my USCIS account today, it's changed to "Oath Ceremony will be scheduled".
