New Job Before I-864 Submission

All documents are ready to go, just waiting for NVC to ask for them: DS3032, AOS and IV Bill, DS230 and I864.

Now here is my question.

I have been working with my current job for almost 3 years. Just this week, I have already asked them for my Employment Verification letter earlier this week, which they have mailed out just this Friday (08/03). Now, I have this job offer, referred by my previous director (who happens to work in the new company) and is guaranteeing me that the position is mine if I do accept it. If I accept this position, it will be at least 15%-20% than my current salaray now, will it affect my I864EZ? Will they question my employment with the new company? They are willing to provide me with the Employment Verification, and considering taking the job...

BUT, what will happen to my petition? I don't want to let this opportunity pass me by, since I have been waiting for this job offer.

It won't affect you at all since you will still be employed. You can still submit the letter from your previous job and the letter from the new job and that's it. As long as you're making the dough, that's all the NVC cares about.

By the way, I hope you meant to say the new company will pay you 15%-20% MORE...
