Funny... I just googled my fiance's name and he is been busy too... He is all over the world... He plays a music instrument, he is a professor at a university.... Interesting... I need to have a chat with him.... :lol::lol:

3/24/11 Received 10 year Green Card in the mail - Done. Feels good :-) 'till we do this again for US Citizenship.

12/5/11 mailed packet for Naturalization

12/9/11 was received by USCIS.

4/6/12 received letter for fingerprint appn.

4/23/12 9am fingerprint appointment - done :-)

4/30/12 Recieved Letter for Interview - Sche. 5/31

5/31/12 Interview & Testing

5/31/12 Testing Approved - Waiting for next step

6/21/12 Rcvd email, placed application in the oath sched. que :-)

6/25/12 Rcvd letter - Oath Ceremony is on 7/11/12 @ 9:15am :-)

Good thread guys :)

Funny thing is if you google my husband's name, you actually pull up thousands of sites that DO mention him!! I did this before we met in person and suprised him by throwing little tidbits into the conversation where he'd say..."How the hell did you know that!" :) Not that he hid anything from me, we just hadn't got around to talking about every single aspect of each other's lives yet.

google names are always fun... fortunately my name and my husband name are very unique.. at least my Thai last name is :P even with my married name - cant find anything on me or my husband..... (there's only 4 of us that use this last name.. i'm the 4th one :P )

My husband is a champion diver from New Zealand and the winner of the Junior High Great Canadian Geography Challenge, which is actually him!!! :lol:

Also, some kind of hockey player. Go figure.
