I just quit my job without even giving them any notice period. Will this effect my chances of having my 129-f approved? Do they check up your work history and ask previous employers about you?

By the way, I have a filing date of 25th June 2007 from CSC. I live in Scotland and will hopefully be moving to the states to live with my fiance soon.

Just worried about the fact I may not have any good work references...

21/12/2007 - NOA2 issued

31/12/2007 - NOA2 hard copy

28/01/2008 - Packet 3 received

11/02/2008 - Packet 3 forms & checklist returned to Embassy

13/02/2008 - Medical

28/02/2008 - Packet 4 received

20/03/2008 - Interview @ 10am - APPROVED

28/03/2008 - Visa in hand

14/04/2008 - POE Detroit (DTW)

22/05/2008 - Married

AOS

06/06/2008 - AOS & EAD filed

13/06/2008 - NOA1 letter received

14/07/2008 - Biometrics appointment

14/08/2008 - EAD production ordered

23/08/2008 - EAD card received

14/01/2009 - Green card producation ordered (No interview required)

22/01/2009 - Green card recieved

No problem. It's not a job interview. It's important that your US sponsor have a job. The reason you give a job history is so they can determine whether you work in some area of security concern.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...
