Hi everyone,

We got our I129F approved a month ago and now our case says ready on CEAC. I filled out the DS-160 and created the account in the ais website but I haven't be able to schedule a interview, does anyone know if the embassy is not scheduling interviews at all, when new interview dates are going to be available or how often the embassy releases new dates?

Thanks!

Hey John, we're in the same boat - the Embassy received our case at the beginning of November and we haven't even received packet 3 yet... no appointments to be found. It looks like (from timelines here on VJ) the most recent group before us was able to schedule without issues but nobody really had any appointments beyond the first week of January or so. Also, as of this week there is no way to email the embassy - they now use a google form and all K visa related questions lead to a "don't contact us with questions" page! Definitely frustrating to be so close, yet so far!

Hey there. Well, I am still on the same point but couldn't wait and emailed and called the embassy and both basically told me I was going to get the packet in the following weeks. About the embassy if you want to contact a real person just click on "All other questions" and it will give you a template to email them. Make sure it does not look like any of the other options that google form has so it does not get discarded automatically. Anyways, they are going to tell you the same thing honestly "just wait until we contact you". But for the appointment I had the chance for like a second to schedule one, but it was too soon and was kinda scared since it was for December 5th. Literally like only 4 business days after it got to the embassy. I decided to just pass from that appointment and wait until I can get one on December or January, decision which I am regretting, to give more time to the embassy to either contact me or send me 3 and 4 packet. If you have any info please let me know. Thanks!

We’re on the same boat. The embassy sent me an email stating that they received the paperwork from the NVC on 6 November. We received the instruction packet on 16 November but they said they sent it the first time on 8 November. We completed the DS-160 on 23 November. I sign up to schedule an interview but i have not had any luck. I check every day but nothing. Our validity date for the NOA 2 is until 12 January but we have everything ready except for the medical, fingerprints, and final interview. Hoping they add appointments soon. Going crazy over here. Has anyone been successful with a similar timeline?
