I have my interview appointment for my spouse visa scheduled at 8am on Wednesday morning in london. Should I be arriving at the embassy super early if I want to get ahead of any queues so I'm not there all day or are the appointment times pretty good? Any other advice for the day of would be amazing.

Curious on anyone who's put down for DX pickup for their passport rather than delivery and how that went. Thanks!

Hi

i can’t say this is always the way but I was there in aug for mine and there was 3 people in the line! Seems to have definitely got a lot better than a few months back. I was actually amazed how quick it was. Whole thing took c2 hrs…and that included 1h30 sitting waiting inside to speak to the officer.

I debated picking up passport after but in end paid for delivery. And worked super quick (4 days) and easily. Tbh I’d just pay for delivery if I were you. Can still change to that until day before.

My appointment in July was for 10am, there is no queue for IV appointments (go to the front and tell them that’s why you’re there, and they let you straight in). I was there for about 5 hrs in total.
