Good morning I am facing problems with my 1-130 I got approved and I just check and the case is been close what should I do about it ..thank you

Senior Master Sergeant, US Air Force- Retired (after 20+ years)- Missile Systems Maintenance & Titan 2 ICBM Launch Crew Duty (200+ Alert tours)

Registered Nurse- Retired- I practiced in the areas of Labor & Delivery, Home Health, Adolescent Psych, & Adult Psych.

IT Professional- Retired- Web Site Design, Hardware Maintenance, Compound Pharmacy Software Trainer, On-site go live support, Database Manager, App Designer.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

@Lawrence30gyour case is closed because it's already approved since January 2023. What is the relationship of beneficiary to the petitioner?

 

Also contact the mods to delete the screenshot which has your case number. Always keep your case number private.

Next steps will be at NVC. The relationship of the beneficiary will determine how soon you hear from NVC that's why I asked. So who is the beneficiary?

Then you should have heard from NVC by now. Contact them ASAP and inquire about your case since your case has been approved since Jan 2023.

You can contact both if you want. But I will still suggest you contact NVC first.
