Hi!

I just submitted my I-751 and realized that when we bought a house about a year ago, I may have forgot to inform the USCIS of the change of address. It was a short move within the same zip code, but I guess that does not really matter. I will have to check with my wife if I did file or not, but I am slightly concerned that this will be held against me during the I-751 process. I did fill out the two addresses on the I-751 application as instructed.

Does anyone have any experience with a similar situation? Any thoughts?

Thanks!!

You should be fine. As long as you did the address change, they should change your address. You might want to call them to see if your current address is up to date.

Thanks guys!

I did the online AR-11 yesterday and sent in the I-865 for my wife. Hopefully they won't be too upset that it took me well over a year... With some luck the address change may even get processed before the I-751, since that one was submitted only one week ago (last day before the increase - let's hope it doesn't bounce).

I read about the fee increases on Friday afternoon and put my packet together in just a few hours (in fashionable freak out mode), and managed to get it postmarked on Saturday morning. Good timing at its best...

Thanks again!
