Does anyone have any recent firsthand experience or knowledge about just how much income history is actually required for the petitioner in a K1 visa for the Philippines?  By the time my fiancé has her interview in Manila, I will have been working a stable, well paying job for a little over 1 year (with tax return for 2023 showing income well above the required threshold).  The previous 2 years I had no income besides capital gains.  I keep hearing different things.  I have over $25K in the bank as well which I hope helps.   Thanks for any input!

Welcome to Visa Journey.  I have moved this topic to the Philippines regional forum as the PI consulate operates a little differently from some others regarding financial support.  Our esteemed Philippines experts will see it here.  Good luck on your journey!!!

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

The length of employment is not important.  The Consulate is interested in your current earnings.  This can be documented by pay stubs if you haven't cycled a tax year. The $25k in the bank will not have the impact that you might hope for.

FYI, the Consulate more often than not doesn't even ask for the I134 during the interview.
