Does anyone think it might be an issue if my husband and I travel to Europe for a week about a month after he enters the US on his K3? We will have filed AOS before we leave.

I know he will need a tourist visa for Europe, but we shouldn't have any problems coming in and out of the US as far as I can think. Since K3 is multiple entry, we don't need advance parole. And we'll just get a new i94 white card when we re-enter right?

that is correct. k-3 is a multiple visa. just make sure u check out with immigration in the airport before leaving. they will take his i-94 and he will get a new one when he comes back. he will have to go thru immigration again coming back.

my husband got his k-3 and had to go back to saudi arabia to finish his work contract so he left for 3 months and no problems coming back again.

no advance parole needed unless the k-3 expires.

You should be fine but should always keep in mind that even having AP does not guarantee admission on return to the US.

He doesn't need AP.. he has a K3..

You can travel at will to wherever you want to go as long as the visa is valid. Have a great trip...

OK, thanks for the info. Sounds like we should be fine. Except for of course having to do immigration etc again upon retnety to the US. But at least I would also be with him at that point if there are any questions or concerns.

Thanks for the input!

I do know that and I should of elaborated on what I was trying to say. I said 'that even when', because regardless of whether one has K-3 visa (multiple entry) or even AP one is not automatically granted re-entry. I did say the OP should be fine.....but the chance is still there regardless.
