Rescheduling Interview?

After receiving our NOA2 9/22/2023, our case was received at Paris embassy and we completed the DS-160.

After checking nonstop, an appointment for an interview finally became available for March 27, 2023. This is about 6 months after our NOA2 was approved, so  after the 4 month expiration date. I really want to try and reschedule an interview for sooner, but nothing is opening up. I'm overwhelmed because it seems like all other applicants have been able to get their interview for sooner; I feel like I'm doing something wrong.

Will it be no issue to extend my approval past the 4 months? Is it a waste of time trying to get a sooner appointment, or am I missing a way to schedule for sooner?

For a peace of mind, you can email the consulate asking them to extend the expiration date due to interview appointment delays.
