Hello there, i am posting this in hope to help others from falling in the same problem as me and avoid getting the 221(g) document.

Yesterday August 3rd 2007, i had an interview in the consulate of Casablanca - Morocco, and this is what exactly happened to me.

The lady called my name and i went to the window where she sits. she said Bonjour and i said hello, i talked to her in english to let her know that i want to be interviewed in english. this is very important because if you don't speak english there will be a problem for you and how will you comunicate with people in the US, she will ask you in what language you talk to your fiance and if you say for example another language and that your fiance too talks that language, the main problem will always still HOW WILL YOU COMUNICATE WITH PEOPLE IN THE US and not how you do with your fiance. anyway, she started saying: (she asks randomly, she can ask anything that comes to her mind)

Who filled the forms for you ? I filled the forms.

You ? Yes yes, me !

And who filled the forms for you in the US ? My fiance filled them. (this is a bad answer because you who supposed to fill them) and the fact i filled them with the help of my fiance when she was here with me and i signed them, but i forgot this.

Where does your fiance live ? Bla Bla Bla.

What is her name ? Bla Bla Bla.

How did you meet her ? In the internet on a music website. (avoid dating website).

How ?? She was asking a question there and i posted the answer then we changed our emails.

What does she do in her life ? She is a Bla Bla Bla.

How does she do her job ? (asking me what the details of her job) Bla Bla Bla.

What is her study degree ? I don't know.

What does she do for fun ? Cooking.

How many children she has ? She has x children.

What are their names ? Bla Bla Bla.

How old are they ? Bla Bla Bla.

What does she do with her kid ? She raise them and she play with them.

How she raise them ? huh !! playing with them.

How she play with them ? !!

Why do you want to marry her ? because i love her and she is lovely.

Why do you love her ? because she is nice.

How nice is she ? huh

Can you tell me one thing ? (i got disappointed then and forgot everything, instead of telling her she is nice to me and she treats me verry well and she loves me).

Where did she live for all her life ? In Bla Bla Bla.

Was she married before ? Yes she was married.

For how long ? For Bla Bla Bla years.

What is the name of her ex-husband ? Bla Bla Bla.

When they got divorced ? In X-date the divorce became final.

Will you work in the US ? Yes.

What do you think you will work ? Bla Bla Bla.

she gave me a paper (the 221g) saying: Ok sir, your case requiers additional administrative processing and this is very normal, we will contact you in approximatively 1 week.

and i said thank you.

I recommend all the interviewed people to stay cool, because some questions are really weird and get people borred and this is what that lady want to happen. how come i have an insufficiency of proofs of our relationship if my fiance applied for me in the US !!! isn't it strange ? how can i know how she plays with her kids at home ? is this a logic question ? how can i know the small details of her work and how she works ? is this a logic question ? most of the time, they just want to deny people. and while i was there waiting for my turn, in more than 30 persons i can tell you less than only 3 persons who got approved and they were not of the K-1 visa. a man applying for the green card lottery paid 812 dollars and he got denied !!!! he left very furious.

You might want to hook up with people in the MENA forum and ask some questions there. Unfortunately, there are lots who have had this same experience and thay can help you with the next steps for your situation.

Sorry for your trouble. I hope you get things worked out! Good luck!

Wow. Thank you so much for detailing all of your questions and the way you felt responding. When I was reading it I thought that it was a denial and my stomach was sinking for you and because my fiance also has to go through Casa for his interview in x months or so (we just started the process). Then I see people congratulating you and I assume they know what they are talking about so big congratulations from me too. I would love to hear when you officially receive your letter in a week or so.

I'm going to translate the questions and forward them to my fiance so he has an idea of what he can expect. I'm really nervous because I've been married before, we communicate only in French (and neither of us is totally fluent in it), he's younger than me, he's good looking (which I fear will raise suspicion), and I'm afraid I didn't provide enough evidence of our relationship in the initial 129F application. I provided pictures from my first two visits, airline ticket receipt for my next trip in two weeks and emails and our letters of intent, explaining that we communicate on the net about 2-3 hours per day. It's sad when you love each other so much and fear no one will believe you!

We are having a big engagement party in Morocco and my mother and aunt will be there plus tons of his relatives, and I will have an engagement ring. Also, he's beginning lessons in English in September and so hopefully he will know enough English to prove he can communicate in the U.S. It's good to know that we better go over the details of my job because of course he knows what I do but we don't talk about the boring day to day things I do so maybe we better talk about it.

Some questions: Do you know if evidence is accepted by the USICS after you file the application or if there's no second chance?

Also, you say that Casa expects you to have filled out the paperwork yourself. Is this just for the G-325A or for the actual application because there is no where on it for the fiance to sign it?

Last, you say "the questions are weird and some people get bored." Do you mean the interviewer gets bored or the applicants? Why?

Are you allowed to leave additional evidence with them at the interview, or just show it to them? As I said above, I am afraid I didn't give enough even though I provided over 25 pictures, etc. I just want to know if they will accept the additional evidence at the interview. Also, is your fiance allowed to enter the interview with you and the examiner?

I'll probably post some of these questions in the main forum since you've helped me to think about some things.

God bless you. I will be praying for you and your loved one.

About filling the applications, the first ones that will be sent to the USICS in the US. the best answer have to be like this (We both filled them when my fiance was here in morocco, because there is a place where your husband must write his name in native language, i mean Arabic. so it is supposed at least he wrote something on the forms. that's why it is better to say we both filled them) and the last ones that he will bring to the consulate the answer better be (I filled the forms).

The lady of the consulate that asks questions try to get people borred by her strange questions, that's why i recommend you to stay cool and have a light smile on the face lol.

About evidences, you will give her only what she asks you, because i see it is not logic to give her the messages and the pictures when she asks you to give her only the messages. about me she told me do you have her messages ? and i gave her more than 300 papers all of her messages since years ago. and i had many other proofs like her hand writing messages and its envolopes with our addresses on them with stamps of the US, and pictures and her letter of intent to marry me and her original birth certificate and many many other things but i did not give her anything of this since she did not ask me but i told her i have other things and she said no no it is OK. (i recommend you to even have the letter of her parents to approve your marriage and of course signed) this will help so much too.

I want to clarify something, about the question (how she works or what do she do exactly in the work) she is asking the small details. for example if you say she is a chef and she cooks she will ask how does she cook x thing ? then what will be the answer !!? for me you have to tell her for example when she wants to cook a pizza she put meat and cheese and tomatoes and ... believe me i don't overstate because this is what happened to me. this is why i am telling you to not get borred. and even you have to know the exact cities where she did live in her life, because i was asked about this too.

The place where the people will get interviewed is a room a little wide but full of people waiting for their turns and everybody is watching while the others are interviewed. what i want to say is that there is no privacy. when i was waiting for my turn i saw many things and i heard many questions, i saw a man was inaterviewed in Spanish and the poor one lied, she asked him if they had the fiance ceremony and he said yes, she asked him for the pictures and he showed them and she said this is not a fiance ceremony and he said yes it is, she said no it is not i know how ceremonies in morocco and this is not a fiance ceremony. so he was like lying and he got denied, please AVOID LIES, if you don't know an answer just say i don't know and don't lie. and better to answer in a phrase or more and say more details avoid answer of 1 or 2 words.

I need help please.

My fiance think all the time that i am using her just for the visa, and believe me it is not. i don't know how to resolve this. and i think almost all of the US women are infected by this idea.
