hi again everyone. i need help again. sorry to bother guys!

My wife is here visa K-3 visa and i am doing her I-864.

On part 3. Information on the immigrant you are sponsoring.

8. I will check box.. I am sponsoring the principal immigrant named in part 2 above. ( which is my wife) ,

then i will check box YES?

then i leave line 9 blank and also line 9a to e???

10. Enter total number of immigrants you are sponsoring on this form from part 3, item 8 and 9.

I will enter 1?? (I will only sponsor my wife, nobody else).

THEN on part 5. Sponsors household size. DO NOT COUNT ANYONE TWICE..(i am confuse with this one, help!!!)

Persons you are sponsoring in this affidavit:

a. Enter the number you entered on line 10.

( i will enter 1 ??? )

Persons NOT sponsored in this affidavit:

b. Yourself ( 1 is the answer for sure.)

c. If you are currently married, enter "1" for your spouse.

( SHOULD ENTER 1 AGAIN?) ( will i double count my wife here?)

e. I have one dependent ( my father) so i will put 1.

h. Add together lines and enter. Household size?

IM CONFUSE IF I PUT 4 OR 3 IN HERE BECAUSE IF I WILL ADD UP EVERYTHING IT WILL BE 4. AS FAR AS I KNOW MY HOUSEHOLD SIZE IS JUST 3........FOR MYSELF, MY WIFE AND MY DEPENDENT FATHER NOT 4.

thank youfor all the help guys. I appreciate it.

Good luck to all of us and God Bless.

Correct.

No, do not double count her. It's a bit confusing here but as this affidavit of support is used for various types of cases, you would enter 1 here if you were sponsoring someone else such as the hypothetical children of your immigrant spouse, but at a later time than when you filled out forms for your immigrant spouse... meaning you had already filled out an affidavit for your spouse and would not be sponsoring him or her in the new affidavit, only his or her offspring. See what I mean? That's just a made up example but that's how it works, I think.

So, again, no, do not double count your wife here.

e. I have one dependent ( my father) so i will put 1.

Correct of course.

h. Add together lines and enter. Household size?

Well... you do the math here but as I understand it your household size is indeed 3, not 4!
