hello everyone,

i spent the last two hours reading through numerous postings about renewal of ead. i went through pretty much every emotion, from somewhat calmed to ballistic *hehe*

here is my thing... my ead expires on sep 19th this year. somehow we've missed the 100-days-rule. but that seems not be such a biggi, if i get my butt moving right away... i'm working for a very small family based company, so i should be good on that side

i also have my permanent resident card which is valid til december 2008. my question is, if i actually need to renew my work permit, since i have my perm/res card.... i just can't figure that out....

i hope, i make somewhat sense and highly appritiate every advice given

thx in advance

karin

Since you already have your PR card you do not need to renew your EAD.

The EAD is only for the interim while you are waiting for permanant residency.

Just remember to file for lifting of conditions 90 days before your PR card expires.

I 130 & I129F (K3) and AOS info in timeline
