You are submitting the G-325A why? Because you are submitting an I-130 petition, and the instrucitions for the I-130 petition tell you that you must submit a G-325A with the I-130.

You are submitting the G-325A in connection with an I-130 petition.

But don't worry, if you write something else I think the case officer will be able to figure it out. After all it's an I-130 case that he is looking at when he sees the G-325A.

Where it says,

This form is submitted in connection with an application for: Am I checking the box 'Status as Permanent Resident'? (We're applying for the IR-1)

When my packet 3 came, it was labeled as a IR-1 Visa. I didnt mean to stress you out

It was mainly just to let you know what I did personally. I respond thru the daytime at work, so I dont always have my information right at hand. Luckily yesterday, I had my packet with me,as I was sorting thru things for my DS230=)

No problem Candy I think I overthink all of it anyway, trying to get it all JUST right. I end up stressing myself out for no reason!

I sent the packet off today! I can't wait to hear from them! Although, I read on one of my other posts (and thanks for responding to all of them! ) that someone was denied while you were there and something about them not having the long form. I pray that that doesn't happen to us. I mailed the stuff off this morning, so didn't see these posts until I got home. I sure hope that lady who told me that knew what she was talking about!

Just watch your caller id (if you have one). They will call you to set up an interview. On my caller ID it just came up with a phone number with toronto area code. We didnt think to much of it because we had been getting an overwhelming amount of solicitation calls from the same area code, and when we tried to call it back, it wouldnt go through. So...it took us an extra 3 weeks to get our interview, LOL! Depends on how you mailed it (regular post vs UPS/Canada Post), they got my application in 2 days, and exactly a week later they tried to call. I asked why she didnt leave a message, and the lady stated that they normally dont leave messages, but she finally left one for me because it was getting close to the fee increase, and she wanted to get us before it went up. Now, I dont know if this is 100% true or not, depends on who you talk to sometimes. Just be watching for the call !

Ooooh, now I'm not going to want to leave the house! LOL Did they call in the morning or afternoon?

I mailed it CanadaPost Express yesterday afternoon and it was delivered this morning at 8am. I was SO excited to see that!! Now, just waiting on my interview with them

When they called me it was typically in the morning, but I know they did try in the afternoon a few times after not being able to get ahold of me. So I think it depends on how many times they try but are not able to get ahold of you on the phone =) They do make every effort to make contact with you, in my opinion. I know it took her like 3 weeks of trying to call me before I was actually home when she called.
