can your oversea diploma be for any use here

Timeline

hey guys, i m for almost 7 months now, and i m looking for a job, the only thing i found is working for Mandee, but the job is so boring. i mean studded first in a business school then 4 years college, and now with the job i have i feel like i m waisting my potential. i put clothes on hangers and put them back on the rounders and i think to myself, its thats for what i studded 6 years in a businees school, 4 years in college to do that:( its really hard for me to start my life all over again, no friends, cant use my diploma, cant find a nice job. i was even thinking to start college here, but its too expensive. i wonder can i bring my transkripts from my college, and will they help me if i start to go to college. i heard from one girl that she finish college in her counrty and here just took a year in a college and they gave her diploma from the american college.is that possible. any ideas will be helpful. thanks

Hi Polina...I have my bachelor's degree and have it finished from my country..but i dont know with business course if it is in demand..but dat work is ok(mandee)..for temporary..try sending application to the work u want...atleast u have work now..the most important thing is ur earning...then when time comes there's company would be interested to u...then thats d time!.....its really hard to start studying again...thought its cheap coz i want to study masters..but need to work first. Anyways...just take ur time..try to apply while working. Goodluck!

AOS/EAD APPLICATION

Got my SSN

had my immunization info transferred in I-693a thank God!

May 11, 2007-AOS mailed

May 13, 2007- item was delivered in CHICAGO IL

May 16, 2007- AOS/EAD NOA recieved

June 2, 2007- Biometrics Appointment Date

June 21,2007-AOS transferred to California Service Center

July 10, 2007-I-485 Card production Ordered

July 11, 2007-Notice mailed welcoming the new permanent resident.

July 13, 2007-Approval notice sent- I-485

July 19, 2007- Green Card Arrived! Wooohooo!

July 24, 2007- I passed my driving written test!

August 22, 2007 Passed my road test and started my work!

April 2009- Removing Conditions Applied

September 11 -got my 10 Year green card! yahooo!

December 2010- Apply for Citizenship

maybe my problem is i m too unpatient and want the best job now, but of course that takes time.

Yes...u know this is not our country..so whatever offers we recieved... let's grab it!..for an experience...when we have a lot of experiences already after a couple of years then it wouldnt be hard for us to find the job we want. :thumbs:
