Who is the ACR-I card holder and what is their visa status having an expired ACR-I card?  If they need an ACR-I card at all they may require ECC exit clearance from BI.

Thank you for your reply sir.

My husband has expired ACR-I card.

Year 2020 he was balikbayan visa after a year he needed to extend staying here in the Philippines that's why he got ACR-I card. From balikanbayan visa to ACR-I card. Then after a few years of extending it we forgot about it he's been here for almost 5 years. He's ACR card is almost a year expired. We only remember it now because we're leaving the Philippines to USA in December.

My immigrant visa is gonna expire in December if we don't leave by then. There is no use for him to renew his ACR-I card now because we're about to leave anyway.

Again thank you kindly. If you can share more about ECC exit clearance. Please do share it to me. Otherwise we're just gonna have to go to the office of bureau of immigration.

Has he been successfully extending his visa until now even with an expired ACR-I card?????  If his visa is still current he should count his blessings and renew the ACR-I card.  He definitely needs to go to BI for ECC exit clearance.  Figure out for sure that his visa is current before you even approach them though.

Sometimes yea, like for a month or so expired. They allow that. Because sometimes you lose track of time. And here in Philippines, no one ever asked for my husband's ACR-I card going everywhere. So, it's kind of useless really. Then we totally forgot about it lol like for a year 😂

Anyway, we'll just go at bureau of immigration and we'll see what happens. Pray for us please! Thank you! If you want an update just ask away:)
