Ammar just called me to say I got a package from Amman Embassy so I told him to open it. They sent back my birth certificate and made a copy of it as well and sent that back to me, and nothing else. No letter of explanation, etc. WHY they can't just send back his original letters, which are the only thing I care about? No idea. Anyone else get your birth certificate sent back to you? I am wondering why they did it? Saves me $18 to get another certified copy if I ever needed one from the Orange County Vitals and Statistics office, but I didn't exactly need this one... that's why i bought it for them. Maybe they were confused by it's awesome coloring? Maybe they thought ti would be fun to send back pieces of our file with inexplicable copies? When I gget home I'll check again for some kind of letter, but I am sure he's not mistaken.

See I sent certified copies to every place.. chicago, CSC, and Amman... so I don't know why they are sending back the one from Amman? And why they also made a copy and sent it to me as well?

I told Dh to get certified copies of everything just in case they accept our paperwork they asked for... So he will go get new marriage license, birth certs ... everything. I said we will need it for AOS if they accept all our papers... I am too hopeful that they do as they say. He sent the papers needed yesterday. I told him to include his amm number address, phone number. I don't know if he listened to me or not. Usually he says, "yes mam" and does what he wants...

All they wanted from us was Original birth certs, and court paper saying he had sole legal custody of his daughter. At first they said the paper from Yemen, but that wasn't in the email they sent me and trust me i did question it.... So now I wait and send an email asking if they got his paperwork and then ... should I beg for the acceptance or perhaps tell them they can have my first born,,, ohhh ohhh ohhh no how about my 13 yr old?!?!?!

When He sent off the papers today, the woman at AMERX told him that out of all the papers she has seen shipped off only 10% actually get accepted and get to go the USA. How in the hell would she know this? He told her it was alright because he will have me go there to live if i cant be with him. (gulp) I mean we are sending in the papers they required... RIGHT? we should get the damn thing sent back OKed if they asked for his passport and the papers right???????

I don't drink, but today, I wish I did. I need to relax. Did I mention I BOUGHT the plane tickets today because they are sold out for more then a month? This flight was the only one I could get and it was Aug 29th? There are a few stops on the way and it cost more then I will ever admitt.... Then... my car died. Yes my starter is with the angels. Please pray my best friends hubby can fix it! Bartender!!!!!!!!!
