Hello everyone i have a question can anyone confirm if joint sponsor (JS) and JS spouse are suppose to have EXACT same income on their i864 and i864A if both are working and have different jobs, but they filed as married filing jointly.Cant find the answer to this. Do i put JS and JS spouse as having same income since they filed taxes as married filing jointly or do i put each of their income seperate because they have different jobs and different income? Thank you.

Three threads on the topic of joint sponsor merged together. It is not allowed to start multiple topics asking questions pertaining to one topic (in this case joint sponsor and I-864/A questions) as that’s considered spamming and is TOS violation. Keep all further and follow up questions in THIS thread only.

I gave you the answer and referred you to the form instructions for confirmation.  The tax section will show the same income because they filed taxes jointly.  Their individual income is stated separately in a different section of the form, then the form will total it.  Current income for employed people comes from their pay stub, not a tax return.  If you make 1k a week, your current income is 52k, for example.

Study those instructions please.
