I am hoping that our age difference doesn't effect us either. He is going to be 62 and I'll be 44 this year. He is from the UK. I don't believe love knows age and it shouldn't matter. His biggest fear is that he will be viewed as a public charge because of his age. He is actually in better shape physically than I am!

I strongly believe that if you have enough proof you will be ok. They may ask you more detailed questions during the interview...but i wouldnt worry about. The fact is that you have nothing to hide. I know its easier said then done and while going through the immigration process we tend to worry about every little thing. But from an outsider looking in...you are ok. Besides, as you get older age gaps are not so bad. Its not like hes 30 and your 15. Hope this helps :)

I was going to add that "it's not like I'm 21 and he's 40". I'm glad that you said it. I wouldn't want to offend anyone who is younger and I agree with you that as you get older, age gaps are not as questionable. Thanks for your support!
