Hello Guys,

I would like to know if someone who has DACA advance parole (based on humanitarian reasons). Can he/she travel to another country from his/her home country. The passpaort will be stamped once reached/exit from that country and then return to USA from home country? Will CBP give him/her hard time?

Thanks,

As I understand it DACA AP requires a specific hardship reason.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

Yes, they can ask for AP for travel anywhere as long as travel is necessary for humanitarian/education/work reasons. As long as you go to the designated country in your AP document there shouldn't be any red flags - unless the country is Cuba, Iran or something like that.

That being said, they also need to check the entry requirements into the country they're going with respect to the passport they hold, i.e. visa/eVisa/eTA...
