Wait for the petition to be sent to the consulate. Once it's there, contact the IV section of the consulate to update your address.

A suggestion...

You have a very long road of paperwork ahead of you, and the more consistency you can have, the better it will be for everyone (including you). I'm just now getting ready for our Perm. Residency interview. What I have done is give my parent's address as my permanent address. They just passed on the USCIS letters I got. Then, it doesn't matter where you move or for how long you are there.

Just a suggestion,

Good luck!

My fiance and i just applied for the K1 visa 2 weeks ago. Now i have to move into another apartment here in Germany but the papers we just put in have my old adress on. Now what ????

I had the same problem, I sent the I-129F petition and then moved a few weeks later. Here's what I did, and what you should do:

-Have the post office forward all mail to your new address.

-On the USCIS.gov website there is a form to fill out if you move when your case is pending.

-Write a letter to the Visa headquarters giving them your old address and your new address, their address is:

The National Visa Center

32 Rochester Ave.

Portsmouth, NH 03801-2909

I spent a lot of time on the phone with the USCIS customer service and that is what they told me to do.

I hope it helps, goodluck!

Be careful taking this suggestion. Sometimes an address question is looking for contact information, sometimes it's looking for a place of physical presence, and it's not always easy to know which.
