Thank you guys. I appreciate all of your kind words. Believe me, it will mean so much to my husband when I show him this thread. He gets excited when I post things about us.

Charles-thank you! The best for you and nessa. I could see a few people that could play in it also, he he

Moody-I thought you were a vet with your husband being here. Any how, I guess we do have more days than you guys. The picture of the two of you is very very pretty.

Jenn-funny  I will only plan one more celebration. Is it Wadi's 601st day? How long is in years, months, days, minutes, and seconds. Can you figure that out? LOL Mrs. Numbers, thanks for the link.

Aymerlu-thanks and congrats on the year to come.

Thn9479-thanks. I think it is absurd too, any stereotypes.

Aj1-thanks!

Sara535-thank you. MENA should give you your first official MENA baby shower :)

sereia-again thanks! My philosophy is, if i don't make him feel good and special everyday and on special occasion (even if I have to make a special occasion) someone else will  Glad to hear good things about your fiance so early. Sometimes that is just not the case, as we have learned through some other experiences.

a1angied-thank you very much! I can't wait to post at the 1000 day mark.

I guess I'm glad I didn't read the book 'cause I really loved Wicked. I saw it about two years ago in NYC and thought it was amazing. My girls want to see it but I think they wouldn't get how she became green since they really don't get the whole making a baby concept no matter how much I try to tell them.

Anyways one of their favorite ringtones is the song Popular from Wicked. Actually at one point this school year you could hear about five of the girls in my 5th grader's class' phone go off with that ringtone. Apparently at least one of the girls saw it here in Boston and it took off like a hit!

(the other fav ringtone is Girlfriend by Avril  )

In celebration of my husband being here in America with me for 100 days, we went to see the play 'Wicked' yesterday. It was absolutely wicked. It involved what many good books, good plays, or good films are about. The play acts included betrayal, adultery, manipulation, and lies. On a good note, it included in the acts: love, loyalty, kindness, forgiveness, acceptance, and decency. He enjoyed his surprise!

Wicked had elaborate costumes and scenes. The music was fantastic. The characters were witty. We loved it. To top it all of, after the performance, my husband and I found ourselves right outside the channel 7 evening news broadcast. We were on TV. We are at the very end of the television broadcast.

We had a great evening. I do not know how today could be better for our celebration, but this evening we are going to Benihanas. This is also a surprise. Tomorrow a small party (it will actually be 100 days Saturday) with cake and ice cream.

My husband and I have enjoyed each other. We are glad we were able to get our visa case approved. My husband is not like what has been mentioned about MENA men on VJ. He is hard working, helpful, caring, loving, kind, and considerate (for the most part, he he). He works, cooks, cleans, does yard work, washes the car, goes for walks with me, is affectionate, etc. He does not think badly about American women, but a lot of Moroccan men here in Chicago do. They have discussed their views about this very subject to him. We are all drunken party hoes that only want sex. LOL! And I do not even go to parties or drink.

I pray to God that I will be able to post about my husbands '1000 Days In America-Our Life Together' in 30 months. On that note, good luck to everyone going through the visa process (the easy part) and to everyone that is already building a life with your MENA husband in America (the hard part). I'm Out!

It sounds as if you will be fine for a good long time, hopefully forever!!!! On a personal note, could I ask what your hubby said when asked why he loved you??? As far as, how detailed he got, etc. Just wanna compare notes. Also, how long had you known each other? Any red flags??? I am so jealous that you have your man with you--lol. Maybe someday soon for the rest of us. Glad you are doing so well. He sounds wonderful!!! Debbie

I believe we will be fine forever, at least I hope so.

He got very detailed; he spoke a lot. She finally interrupted him with another question. We had a known each other for almost a year when he interviewed. No red flags that I am aware of.

Your man will be with you soon enough. Thanks Debbie.

Thanks again everyone for your kind words. :star:
