Well, let's really think about this here...isn't the raising of children and the instilling of values up to the PARENTS? Isn't it THEIR responsibility to teach whatever they believe to their children concerning sex?

isn't it ironic that the ones that squawk the loudest about the government strongly support schools teaching kids about sex?

Please look up irony in the dictionary and get back to us and explain your statement.

Indeed - especially where it relates to a point that was never made. That's generally referred to as putting words in a person's mouth.

I might as well say that those who complain about that being done to them - seem to have no qualms doing it to others.

are you feeling defensive for some reason?

keep patting yourself on the back, i'm sure it makes you feel better ;)

It doesn't change my opinion - I don't advocate taking control of sex education away from parents. Spin it however you like.

i also, think it is the parents role to educated their kids on sex ed and other areas of life...too many parental duties have been turn over to the schools and other outside sources...

Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

Reasonable interpretation Charles - nothing more. Stop trying to make everything more than it is. Can we get back on topic now?

What's your opinion on abstinence-only programmes?

I've expressed my on-topic opinion, and I'm happy with it - misunderstandings / misinterpretations aside. That said, I didn't see your on-topic opinion in 14 pages of discussion. But then - I probably missed it. Must be it.

probably. now go bait someone else in your attempt to find someone to bully.

I'm still trying to work out what 'abstinence programmes speak the truth' means.

Fair enough, you aren't going to get an std or get pregnant if you don't have sex, but beyond that, how is it helpful?

Sex is part of life, a pefectly natural part of life for that matter. There is nothing rude, sordid, disgusting or perverted about it.

That being said, children should be taught how to integrate sex into successful relationships, not told that the only good sex is sex within marriage. As I said, it's scarily outdated...but more Victorian than mediavel ;)

Refusing to use the spellchick!

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .
