I finally got my grandmother an updated computer and she has DSL now. Can you BELIEVE that she still had dial-up! AGH! Her new computer has XP and she is really having a tough time learning it. So, I feel for ya sparrow! I think it's great thought that they want to stay in touch with technology! More power to her!!!!

 Since she's buying my 2005 laptop she's getting XP (and I just bought a new laptop w/ XP because I'm going to resist VISTA forever and hope something better comes along by the time this new laptop craps out)

The cell phone is fun. She didn't check her voicemail for 2 months because she forgot that I told her she had to call her own number. :) It's ok, she'll get the hang of it. And she only wants the laptop so she can study the Bible on CDrom in her lounge chair, she doesn't even want internet or email. We're going to have fun with it :D

What will be interesting is seeing how my grandfather reacts to all this stuff. He calls it all useless and all that fun stuff but you KNOW he's going to get curious...

I got a new system at the beginning of the year and it had Vista on it. At first, I didn't like it at all and thought I would never get used to it...but now it's just like any OS. Have you tried Vista yet?
