Rescheduling London IR1 interview

So like I mentioned in a different topic, we finally got the email with the interview date last week. It is for December 20th, which doesn't work for us unfortunately (I'm out of the country and my wife can't get the time off work anyway). So I've gone into the system, registered the appointment, and gone to reschedule it. You can't do that until you cancel the existing appointment, which I've done, and when I click to search for a new date there aren't any available. I'm not surprised, I was expecting that.

Does anyone have any indication when slots are added into the system? Like, is it completely and totally random? Is it once a day? Once a week? Once a month? I don't really want to keep having to search every 47 seconds unless there's a chance of it being fruitful.

Thanks for any insight!

I have seen it discussed endlessly for various COnsulates, of there is a given time I have not seen it.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

Just an update, that after about 10 days of checking almost constantly, we were able to get a date secured.  I didn't check at all yesterday, and thought I would check just for fun, and there were several dates in January with availability.  We're all set for January 8th.  So it's progress :)
