At my visa interview 3.5 years ago.

Mine was late 2017 I believe for AOS. I am not sure if they will use the same picture.

Filed last night - biometrics reused instantly. Apparently I have a 10 month wait ahead of me (down from 17 before the biometrics reuse notice).

What field office?  Wife's case started exactly like that.  She took the oath 5 months after filing.

Say you qualify to apply today according to the Early Filing Calculator but send it a day before. There should be fine right because it takes few days to get there?

Don't do it. It's not worth the risk. Wait a couple of days after the window for early filing begins. You won't feel much difference between case being approved 3 days earlier or 3 days later.

My lawyer says it’s not a problem. He has been an attorney for decades so maybe he knows something we don’t?

Maybe he knows. There's probably 98% no risk. But what if there's 2% chance of rejection. Is filing few days early worth losing filing fees and having to refile again?

True but I don’t think USCIS goes by postal stamp. They go by when that receive it. So if it was mailed today then they would not get it today. I will be going to his office to review it before it is sent.

I think so too, but what date do you put on the form? Maybe they'll go by that?

Ask him to delay by few days. Why take a risk?
