Hello everyone! I had my N-400 interview yesterday with my I-751 still pending at Montgomery FO. I didn’t have a combo interview, the officer said that my case for a 10-year green card is still with Texas Service Center, so he was not able to approve it yet. He said he requested to approve it, which hopefully would happen in the next couple of days 🤞But my N-400 is approved. I passed the Civics test, writing, and reading, although, it all feels a bit weird, as you kind of done, but also — not really. I hope my case won’t be stuck in a limbo now. Please share if any of you had similar experience.

Question for folks who already had their interview or got their interview notice:

Was interview notice mailed by (came from) National Benefits Center, Missouri or by local field office? Can you please tell who sends the notices out?

Nov Filers - Sorry for the late update, but thought of providing a closure to our case.

Our Oath ceremony was held on July 4th, and it was a superb day to become an American citizen! - something we will remember for the rest of our lives.

We applied for U.S. passport the next day using expedited processing, and received our passports in 14 days.

I hope your applications have progressed well.

Good luck as new U.S. citizens! Vote!

love,

Beautiful America

I had my N-400 interview yesterday (while having a pending I-751). My husband was not allowed in, so I had the interview alone.

The IO stated that he didn't have evidence and showed me stuff from my K1, despite having sent lot of evidence of bonafide marriage for both applications. Luckily I brought evidence with me and gave it to him. He said that he approved that it is a bonafide marriage.

I passed civics and English, the IO handed me the document saying I passed but a decision cannot be made yet.

He said that someone else is working on my I-751 and it would be done by the end of the day, then I'll get my oath scheduled.

Nothing changed on my status so far, did anyone have a similar experience?
