Hi VJ

Does anyone know how to contact someone in USCIS weather its by email or phone.

I have recently sent my medical off which they received. My progressing time went from “ taking longer than expected” to 6months again.

My son has a lot of appointments back in UK (we are currently in the US) i just want them to issue a travel documents so i can take him.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

In theory it's possible but in practice not really.

Many people's dream is to be able to talk to USCIS about their cases.

You can try can try calling

800-375-5283 or contact using other means as described here: https://www.uscis.gov/contactcenter

But don't get your hopes up, the chance of success is very little.

Often, information relayed over the phone is unreliable.

Thank you for this. Its been difficult being stuck in 1 place my dad was diagnosed with stage 3 cancer. I so badly want to go home😢

Sorry to hear about your dad.

I assume, you're going through AOS? You can try sending an expedite request on I-131 (have you filed it?). But that also doesn't work well.

Its a hard time for us all..

Yep our i485 says they accepted our medical on oct 25th and they will let us know their final decisions.

our i-130 shows our processing time as 6months when it says “taking longer than expected” in September i filed 131 its so difficult to understand how this all works.

some people who filed after me and my son have already received their green cards

Sorry to hear, but this is a well-known drawback or tradeoff to adjusting status, rather than going the consular processing route....

Is there anything i can do?

@OldUseris correct.  Request expedite, or abandon the AOS process and be petitioned.  The possible bar refers to whether you accrued presence whilst out of status.

OP, personally I'd go for the expedite request to start.  You never know.  Best wishes.
