timeline to delay VISA K1

Hi everyone, I'm having some personal issues and I want to ask you for help.

I'm Spanish, currently living in Spain and marrying an american.

We filled the File Form I-129F last year and this week we received the messages with the confirmation.

We still didn't receive any paper notification of the NVC.

I think that I will get that notification in about a month.

I believe that the notification will tell me when I have the interview in the embassy, right?

And, before the interview I have to submit the DS-160.

My question is, do you know if I can delay the interview? And how long I can delay it?

Is there any other way to delay the processs?

Due to professional issues the timing is very bad for me. I would like to stay in Spain at least until the end of July or August.

I believe that after the Interview I have 6 months to travel to the US. If the interview is in January, I will be a bit tight on time.

Thanks a lot!
