Applied before increase, now have RFE

It seems the medical file we turned in at the POE has been lost or something. We went and got another one done this week for a cool $175.00. The doctor told us that the increase had been postponed until Aug 15th. Any truth to that? the also sent RFE for birth cert on Work permit. Waiting for a letter from Thailand saying it doesn't exist. thanks for your comments

The new fees have been in effect since July 30th.

If you submitted the application before the deadline, then that's it - it's done. You don't need to pay anything any more. Just make sure you send back your RFE responses on time.
