Finally, Luis is feeling more like he belongs here in the States. He got a good job today, and he couldn't be happier!

He was hired by the Executive Chef at Central Market here in Austin to work as a cook in the cafe. He even got a cute little chef's uniform!

I guess now I lose my "house-husband"... :lol:

My husband starts his first day to work in USA on Monday! It is going to be so nice when we both leave house in morning and head to work! I'm actually looking forward to work on Monday.

11/15/06: Called DHS to see if they had any info on my case - They advised security cleared in Oct. - now waiting for appt letter from CDJ for Visa Pickup. :)

11/27/06: recvd letter from CDJ - Appointment set for Jan 11, 2007

1/11/07: Visa received!!!!!
