Starting to get kinda antsy... a couple of months to go. I don't want to get into politics but I'm afraid with the change in administration USCIS processing will slow way down so I'm hoping we'll get approved before the inauguration, but at this point it doesn't seem likely...

How's everyone else feeling?

I am worried too for that same reason but we have no control over these things so I take comfort in knowing Trump is after illegal immigration.

We are all doing it the right way so we will all get through with no additional days.

Times like these we have to put our trust in higher powers.

Wishing for an approval at all levels and no RFE too

Checked the September thread and seeing where folks are still getting approvals from that month.

The holidays definitely slowed down the approval process.

I am hope that approvals will pick up so Nov 2023 applicants can get approved before Feb 2025.

I was going through old emails. There was one from March of last year from visa journey and it said estimated approval, Oct 14th. The email they sent yesterday said February 16th. VJ is about as accurate as the USCIS website.

No estimates are accurate, sadly, as they rely on past performance to predict future. Each case is unique and USCIS changes priorities all time.

They are going based off when people are approved on here.If no one makes updates the algorithm has no data to provide accurate estimate.

VS USCIS time is random because not everyone at the same service centre applying for the same benefit with the same PD will see the same estimates.

Also, just like with stock market, just because people's I-130s took 14 months 3 months ago, doesn't mean it will be for filers filing later. USCIS can have internal changes affecting processing times.
