Our VJ estimated approval time started in late November but has been moving further and further along and is in late January now, I assume this is just due to other users not reporting their updates on the site. Our case estimate on USCIS has been steadily decreasing from 5 months down to 3 weeks. All we can do is keep waiting and hope that the USCIS estimate is more accurate.

It's taking an average of 15.5 Months for USCIS to approve I-130s. With this timeline in mind, you are looking like February approval window. I hope this helps

No, VJ estimates are pretty accurate. It's gone up because processing times have gone up. We are now up to an average of 14 months and 5 days. It's going up rapidly so I'm expecting it to be up to 14 months and a week, by the end of this week.

Ours is sitting at "Your case is taking longer than expected to process", this was updated about two to three days ago. I'm really hoping it gets approved soon but not holding any hopes.

How can estimates be accurate when they constantly shift? None of my cases took anywhere near of what USCIS estimates or any other estimates predicted...

I-751, original estimate was 7 months. Ended up 20.5 months.
