Hi my wife just filed our I 130. She is in the US and I am in my home country. We are doing consular processing.

Starting this thread to get updates from others who filed in November, so we have support as we all go through this long and arduous process together❤️.

Payment was successfully after filing online.

Thankful that the bank didn't decline the payment as fraud.

NOA1 receipt received Nov 6 at the Nebraska service centre.

Considering if I want to file the K3 to see if this will speed up my case.

The "progress tab" showed up when I checked today Dec 1.

It shows "estimated time for case decision" will be 5 months from now.

I know this date goes all over the place but it's nice to see some update.

Hi folks

Doing my monthly immigratiom status check in. No movement to report, but i highly recommend you don't do frequent checks because it will just make you more anxious  and sad. Checking once a month has definitely helped me to be in a better emotional and mental state.

4 months down and 8 to go.

Hello,

We submitted the I-130 form online on November 25 2023 and received the Receipt Notice.pdf online on the same day. The pdf says Nebraska service center so I assume this is our NOA1? We haven't received anything at all in the mail.

Our "myProgress" started low (I think 3 months) and decreased slowly. On January 2 2024 our case status updated to "Case Is Being Actively Reviewed By USCIS" and the estimate still said 2 months. Somewhere in February it updated to 1 month, and a few days later it said 2 weeks. In March it then said it is "taking longer than expected" but was stuck on 2 weeks. In April it updated to 6 months, and now in May it has decreased to 5 months again.

Best of luck to anyone else waiting to be with their loved ones.

Ours followed a pretty similar timeline. NOA1 late december, with myprogress estimating an answer by around march. March came and went and it went to taking longer than expected. Then a few weeks ago it said 4 weeks, and it has currently counted down to 1 week. Not getting my hopes up though.

Filed November 4th, 2023 and received the receipt the same day. Has gone from a few months to a few weeks and then days back in January, then sat at "this is taking longer than expected" for a while and now sitting at 3 months as of today.

Service Centre is Texas.

Mine was filed in November too and heard nothing since the receipt. May be a dumb question but did you all upload photographs etc as evidence on your application online? It’s clearly not being ‘actively reviewed so I can still add a bunch of my pictures from over the years before they get to it. Starting to get really anxious as I am now pregnant and obviously have no idea when this is likely to get approved. I’m praying we all hear before November and follow other timelines I have seen.

I see no reason why not! I added evidence online as time went by.
