Visa approved or not?

My fiance' had her interview yesterday, received a pnk slip, paid the visa delivery fees but is unsure that she was approved. Does anyone know how to confirm approval or denial?

I have heard that regardless of approval or denial, pink slips are still issued.

Thanks for the insight and I apologize for any redundancy.

Yeah it's difficult to tell one way or the other at USEM.

Main thing is she has the pink slip and paid delbros and I guess she didn't get the white paper saying "Wait until you hear from us"!

Sucks as COs tell peeps they are approved when asked and they end up on AR anyway.

She hasn't been outright denied as they don't ask them to pay delivery fee if so.

Bottomline is you/she are "looking "pretty" good"!

Thanks everyone. I do believe she is approved. BUT.... I won't confirm it until she has the visa in hand! :)

Justjoeny91, I think you and I are thinking so much alike. My fiance's interview was also yesterday in in Manila. She called about 9am Manila time and said, "I am successful." I asked her if she has a receipt or written approval on a piece of paper (I didn't think to ask about the 'pink slip' I have read about on VJ) ... and she said, "the interview lady gave me a thumbs up and smiled, then I went and paid DELBROS." So, I am hoping that means it's final and she really passed. I'll call her in a little bit to get more assurance. For sure she was talking faster and higher-pitched and louder than I have ever heard her, so I can only assume it's all good news. I'll keep y'all posted and tell you any details that could be helpful for anyone going the process when I know for sure ...

Hello Guys which Country are we talking about here? But all the same If Visa is approved in which ever country the embassy holdon to your passport or tell you when to come get it back at the embassy, but in a case you go back home with your Passport then that is no approved visa....... In this Case I want to believe it is an Approved case....... Best of Luck for further progress cos this is just the beginning.......

Wish that were true but at USE Manila they can tell you you are approved, keep the passport, have you go pay for visa delivery and STILL put you on AR.

Happens a LOT.

Green stamp normally means you will be flying to US. You are approved!

WOW Eddie! GREAT!

GOOD info. I hadn't heard of anyone using DOS to confirm before and getting a positive response saying approved.

Especially in one day!

Did you get a warm body or automated?

I got a warm body, and the woman was real nice. She asked me a couple of questions and told me that it was issued. The bad thing was I was on hold for 18 minutes, but well worth it. At least now I have peace of mind knowing now that it is an official confirmation of approval.

Go to this site. http://www.delbros.com/ On the right hand side, very near the top type in your case number eg MNL200686abcg\d with a 01 after. For my FIANCEE it was 01 and for her daughter it was 02. Now I don't know if that is just 1 of 2 or about type Visa. K1 K2 K3. So maybe a spouse would type in 03. All I know is this is what is displayed about our Visa, cuz Nerissa didn't really KNOW either. She paid Delbros and got pink slip, but no ya nay or other.
