I have been calling the USCIS but I can't get hold of a person. Emma hangs up on me if i ask for a representative. Also our twins case is still the same. We filed on 8/9/2021 but the reviewed was on February 2022 and September 2022 and its been 2 years no new updates. Can anyone help on how to contact them to get hold to a live person?

If this is F2a then you still have a few years to go before your PD is current.

And if it's F2B then it'll be even longer. @AileenRico42, it would be helpful if you filled in your profile/timeline so that people can see which category and dates you're asking about.

How old are the children?

So you still have some years to go.

You should have petitioned for them and still can.

They are 13 years old now. My husband , who is a permanent resident petitioned them. ITss been 2 years since we filed for their petition.

OK, so as Boiler has said, still quite a while to go. Visa Bulletin date is Feb 2019 for that category - https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/legal/visa-law0/visa-bulletin/2024/visa-bulletin-for-november-2023.html

Not resend, you never sent, but you can sponsor step children.

F2a was current back in August 2021.  It is not current now.   If you file for them, it will be IR-2....always current.  Correct, @Boiler @appleblossom ?

There is no great rush for F2a as the PD is still some time away.

You can wait

You can also petition for them in addition to your husband's case.
