Ok everyone, first, I want to thank you all for your advice and support. You all are great, and I’m glad I’ve found this site. With this in mind, I have a question to ask with regards to Financial support. I’ve only made the 125% of the poverty guideline for the past year (due to being in school). Do you all think that I should bring paperwork for a co-sponsor to the interview (whenever it will be scheduled) in case the interviewing officer says that my income is not high enough or have not made enough for the previous three years? My attorney doesn’t think this is necessary, and he doesn’t seem to worry at all. But I’d like a second opinion.

In any case, I hope our interview will be after tax season this year… That way I’ll have two years under my belt making over the poverty line,..AND it will allow me more time to get more things together to prove our “joint life.”

Before anyone asks, I’ll be doing my timeline very soon 

Thank you all.

Ok everyone, first, I want to thank you all for your advice and support. You all are great, and I'm glad I've found this site. With this in mind, I have a question to ask with regards to Financial support. I've only made the 125% of the poverty guideline for the past year (due to being in school). Do you all think that I should bring paperwork for a co-sponsor to the interview (whenever it will be scheduled) in case the interviewing officer says that my income is not high enough or have not made enough for the previous three years? My attorney doesn't think this is necessary, and he doesn't seem to worry at all. But I'd like a second opinion.

Honestly, if you haven't got an RFE for the I-864 stuff then USCIS are probably happy with what you submitted.

However it can't hurt to be over-prepared, so if you really feel uncomfortable with your sponsorship situation have a co-sponsor I-864 filled out ready to give the USCIS IO if you run into trouble at the interview regarding financial support. Don't give it to them unless asked though!
