Hi All,

Well I am now in the States and am married! We are now contending with the AOS but having spent some hours on VJ reading all of the tips, we are soooooo confused.

I got a K1 from the UK - do I need the I-693a supplemental? Also, do I need to provide any medical info because we were not given anything from the medical except the x-ray.

If we got through the other affidavit of support OK (and our money status hasn't changed) should we be OK when we file the I-864?

Do we need to provide any relationship evidence with the AOS package or do we wait for the interview?

I applied for my SSN before we were married - does it need to reflect my name change or can I do that while the AOS in the mail? IE do I need to have my married name changed on everything.

If we should be RFE'd once we have sent our package off - is there an extension of time that we can get since my I-94 expires on 31st August?

One last thing - back in June we filed for a change of address (by paper) and haven't received anything back from them - is this normal or should we chase it up?

Thx!!!

YES THE SUPPLEMENT IS REQUIRED TO BE FILLED OUT BY A CIVIL SURGEON IN THE USA.

If we got through the other affidavit of support OK (and our money status hasn't changed) should we be OK when we file the I-864?

I-864 IS REQUIRED TO BE FILED WITH AOS, THE ONE USED AT THE EMBASSY FOR THE K-1 IS ONLY FOR THE VISA.

Do we need to provide any relationship evidence with the AOS package or do we wait for the interview?

HOLD FOR INTERVIEW

I applied for my SSN before we were married - does it need to reflect my name change or can I do that while the AOS in the mail? IE do I need to have my married name changed on everything.

SSN CAN BE CHANGED AFTER MARRIAGE, OR WAIT FOR EITHER EAD OR GREEN-CARD

If we should be RFE'd once we have sent our package off - is there an extension of time that we can get since my I-94 expires on 31st August?

DON'T WORRY ABOUT THE I-94 EXPIRE DATE, YOU NEED TO MARRY BEFORE IT EXPIRES, AFTER THAT YOU CAN REMAIN IN THE USA LONG AFTER IT EXPIRES WHILE WAITING FOR GREEN-CARD. THERE IS NO EXTENDING OF THE I-94

One last thing - back in June we filed for a change of address (by paper) and haven't received anything back from them - is this normal or should we chase it up?

YOU WONT GET ANY CONFIRMATION

Thx!!!
