Hello,

Is the fiance allowed to travel to other countries after a successful K-1 Interview, yet prior to entering US? For example, medical exams and Colombia consulate approves K-1 interview January and gets passport and all documents back. Fiance travels to Mexico and Argentina February, then enters USA March all within 6 months of medical exams.

Thanks

Yes, no problem with travelling elsewhere before entering the US. This question gets asked quite often, not sure why people think it's not permitted?

Thank You!

That's what I figured but wanted to be sure.

Sort of assumes everyone can take a direct flight.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”
