hello everyone

i just wanted to know if cr1 category when they arrived in the U.S then the passport stamp temporary I-551 valid for 1 year , is that a temporary greencard Or should i received temporary green in few weeks after i arrived in the U.S which is that temporary green card valid for two years ?

Timeline

Jarl your stamp inside the passport is your temp greencard. Your actual greencard should arrive in the mail usually within 4 weeks or a little longer. If you have not been married over 2 years it is a CR1 conditional and you must lift conditions 21 months later.
