Hello there!

I have come to the United States recently, and currently I am applying to the college. The college application process asked me for my A-Number, and for the issue and the expiration date of it. I marked the checkbox, states: "Check, if there is no expiration date" because, obviously, there is no an expiration date for the USCIS#, whether you are a refugee or a citizen.

Anyways, I do have that number stated on the USCIS papers, however, the issue date is not stated anywhere clearly.

So, my question is: if there is no a clear written issue date of the Alien-number, should I just take the date from the USCIS website, when the very first document which stated my A-number was sent to me by the Homeland Security Administration?
