Our case is DQ'd and awaiting an interview next week.

So we currently have TWO i-864s:

1. The first one is my i-864 by itself that I originally submitted to the NVC. My income is NOT enough on this but it was DQ'd based upon assets making up the poverty difference.

For the sponsor's address I originally put my address abroad and NOT my United States address. However I put my Domicile as the United States and submitted a document proving my ties to the United States and to my United States address.

2. The second i-864 is for a BACKUP to go along with an i-864a household sponsor, who is my mother living at my permanent address in the United States. On this i-864 I was instructed by an attorney to put my address in the United States so that it matches with my household sponsor living at that address.

I'm not sure what is correct for both of these. I'm currently living overseas and NOT at the United States address, however that is my INTENDED address after I move my family back to the United States.

If any one has any experience with this I'd be grateful.
