to my understanding once you filld for AOS +A/P , you can travel when you get your aproved A/P untill you resive your greencard , once you got your greencard the A/P is not valid and you can travel with greencard ( dont forget your passport ) to travel to canada you would have to aply for a tourist visa wich you can do at the POE , Lona

wow I didnt knew you dont need a tourist visa to enter canada if your a LPR in the U.S

I,m a LPR since many years in canada and always require a tourist visa to visit my fiance in the states , if thats true the states boarder should make it like the canadian border no visa needed if your a LPR , just greencard and passport

True, however a passport is still recommended to be carried but not needed for re-entry if you have and I-551, just no visa required.

SEE: http://www.delta.com/planning_reservations...rt_information/

Put in citizenship, Perm resident (USA), and then pick a destination country. You will see what countries require a visa even with I-551 and which ones don't, Canada, Mexico, and Neighboring Islands don't.
