I am glad I went to my local office today to renew I-551 stamp because it was discovered that they don`t have a record of me taking the fingerprints  Despite of the fact that I had taken my fingerprints just recently, an officer told me that they should be in the system and they are not. He took a copy of letter with a stamp that I did my fingerprints, and said he`d follow up on it. I`ve heard that before, and they never followed up with anything at that office. I think that nasty officer who kept my case pending for several years, is "watching over me"-not in a good meaning.
