Hello. Im a new member and I am applying for my fiancé for k1 in Dhaka Bangladesh. I filled out her DS160 and it said "YOU MUST BRING the confirmation page and the following document(s) with you at all steps during the application process: Passport; Evidence of approved I-129F". What do they mean by evidence of approved I-129F? Is it the NVC email they sent? I read online they are supposed to also give a NOA2 as evidence but I never got one. Does anyone know what they actually mean? When I emailed the embassy they responded with "It means bring evident of Approved I-129F". Basically a worthless response.

The I-797 approval notice (NOA2) from USCIS is the evidence of an approved I-129f.

Thank you both. You are amazing.

No worries. Question though, how do you know your I-129f was approved if you don't have a I-797? For both my I-129 and I-140 my approval email/letter came with the I-797 attached (via email and then a hard copy followed by mail). So I'm wondering if you perhaps have had it but just not realised what it is?

The approved I-129F form comes as an attachment with the welcome letter from the embassy.  Basically it is the scanned version of your I-129F with "Approved" stamped on it and a bar code sticker placed on the top.  It is e-mailed to the beneficiary.

I received an email from the NVC randomly with my case was ready and later checked the USCIS case tracker website which confirmed it. They mentioned the approval letter would arrive August 18 but it never did. I decided to continue on and fill out the DS160.  The document in the email is listed as K-FTP. I was able to fill out the DS160 using the info from the passport and K-FTP.
