Dumb USPS question

Is 'Pick-Up-Point' the last place that it's going? I'm not sure how Chicago works it -- send someone for the mail twice a day or something?

Hmm I'm not sure. Mine showed 'delivered' on Sunday (??), presumably when they dropped in the post office box. I think I missed tracking it a day or two so I never saw an 'arrival at pick up point' status.

Yeah. I overnighted it to Chicago and they said it'd be there by noon. I'm guessing since it's a P.O. box it's just hanging out there waiting for someone to sign for it. I just want my NOA1 (yeah, yeah, I know, three weeks) so I can forget about this for a little bit.

Luckily we weren't RFEd for anything expensive ($2 marriage certs), in fact the postage cost way more, but I went in today after having no luck online. The post lady said she had no idea what had happened to it (we requested express mail with return receipt). So I sent this one via registered mail; means it goes in a locked bag and everyone who touches the damn thing has to sign for it.

We've been lucky with USPS up until now.

Pick-up-Point is the Main post office its leaving from, not the post office you took it to! for example I'm mailing my AOS to chicago lockbox from Norfolk, Nebraska.....the pick-up-point is Omaha, Nebraska ......you see what i'm getting at? It travels from the PO you took it to.........to the MAIN pick-up-point....then leaves from there and travels on route to the lockbox

We sent our RFE yesterday, for arrival today, and the same message is on the USPS site (except we sent it to Lee's Summit, MO):

I know it's not the one I took it to, because that one is in Connecticut. I'm wondering whether it's at its final destination or if I need to call and figure out what's going on.

Ok, i went with your timeline....it says u filed 8/01/07 thats why i i assumed it was maybe enroute to chicago lockbox. Sorry about that. It doesnt actually say it has been delivered yet. I would give it 1 more day and if it hasnt been delivered then i would call them!!
