We had uploaded our 2023 IRS tax return transcript about a month before our cases was approved.  I could not say if they even looked at that and I can't imagine it would have made any difference, but I can very affirmatively say that uploading additional evidence did not cause any kind of delay.

I've just done the same the other day - same with a bunch of updated lease/insurance/bills from our recent move. I don't see how any of this could cause a delay quite frankly, especially since most recent cases are handled electronically.

Just finished uploading the second 4 months' worth of additional evidence. Much smoother this time around.

I’m also planning to upload new unsolicited evidence since submitting the petition in November 2023. Question, did you guys upload each and every file separately or did you group them into categories (so combine all several months worth bank statements into one file, all utility bills into one file, etc.)?

I grouped them into categories, more or less along these lines:

- Joint Occupancy of Communal Residence

- Joint Bank Accounts

- Joint Insurance and Benefits

- Joint Utility Bills

- Joint Travel

- Joint Tax Return Transcript (the only truly standalone document since it is a protected PDF)

- Relationship photos

For each round of uploads I put the date range of the evidence and part[#]of[total] in the file name of each attachment along with a descriptive title based on the list above.

If the file size limit allows, I think fewer files to upload is better but I didn’t want to sacrifice resolution of scanned documents and images.

Thank you, this is really helpful. I’ll be doing this very similarly later today.

I have uploaded the following documents accumulated in the past 7 months:

- Joint property deed

- joint utilities (quarterly)

- joint bank account statements (quarterly)

- joint credit card statements (quarterly)

- joint 2023 tax return transcript

- employment portal benefits

I might upload more in October as we have a big trip planned. If not, I’ll definitely upload more stuff in January 2025

I wouldn’t, financial sponsorship isn’t part of the ROC process
