When i checked on my appointment letter.. My name is missing 1 letter in it.... Should i do something about it? Im worried I might have problem on the day of my interview which will be in Sept. 11.... :help:

call the embassy & ask. they may want you to fax the letter & the correct spelling to them.

congratulations JJ that u already received your packet 4..though im sorry that u have a little problem with your appointment letter.

but i feel that..that will not give you problem. the case number will be another reference of USEMbassy..

i just hope we will receive ours soon too..

06/11/2008.....Interview Schedule - Phoenix, AZ

06/14/2008.....Received Notice for the Approval of AOS Application

06/16/2008.....Received Green Card.

hello everyone,

i have the same problem with jj my first name was misspelled in my appointment letter and i have been trying to call the USEM to call their attention about this problem but i haven't been able to get to talk with anyone yet extension lines are always busy everytime i dial. I am just so worried it might cause problems when i have my interview this september. should i just fax them a letter to correct this error?

I agree, trying to speak to someone now will at least put your mind at rest. It's one less thing to worry about.

thanks guys for your reply... anyway, a friend (we were having same issue) called USem and was able to talk to Lorainne and she said not to worry about it, can be corrected during the interview OR we could fax a letter about it and request to have our name amended on the database early, ill just fax it on monday since i already made a letter :D
